CHROME: Add all available weapons on a internet Server

There are some weapons not available when a standard server is setup. On example the silenced weapons, or the heavy HEX gun. But maybe it would be fun to try it out ? :p Also there are some inventory items, interesting.... but not really valuable... like a CD player. Now how to do ?

Disclaimer: You make these modifications at your own risk, and i cant be held responsible for any damage that could arise from their usage. By following these insctrucions you automatically accept.
  1. Choose the map you want to start a server with... in our example the "chillout" map
  2. Change to the directory \chrome\Data\LevelsNet\Chillout
  3. there you will find a .SCR file named TD.scr
  4. Make a backup of the original .SCR file just in case...
  5. Open this file with a editor like notepad (if you cant, you can change the file name to TD.txt for editing on example; but dont forget do name it back to .SCR after !)
  6. Now you can replace the text beginning from "InventoryRoom()" with the blue text: InventoryRoom()
    {
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponPistolNet", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponPistolSilenced", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponPistolHeavyNet", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponRifleShortNet", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponRifleShortSilenced", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponRifleShotgunNet", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponRifleNet", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponRifleSniperNet", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponRifleSniperHeavyNet", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponRifleMachineGunNet", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponRifleHeavyNet", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponHeavyElectroNet", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponHeavyRocketLauncherNet", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponHeavyHEX", 1)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponGrenadeOffensiveNet", 20)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponGrenadeSmoke", 20)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponGrenadeCluster", 20)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponGrenadeEMP", 20)
    SetInvWeaponNum("WeaponGrenadeFlash", 20)

    AddInvEquip("DrugHealthex", 20)
    AddInvEquip("DrugNeuralHealthex", 20)
    AddInvEquip("BinocularsExtended", 1)
    AddInvEquip("CDPlayer", 1)
    AddInvEquip("MP3Player", 1)
    AddInvEquip("CloakingDevice", 20)

    SetInvAmmoNum("Ammo9mmShort", 20)
    SetInvAmmoNum("Ammo8mmLong", 20)
    SetInvAmmoNum("Ammo12mmShort", 20)
    SetInvAmmoNum("Ammo14mmLong", 20)
    SetInvAmmoNum("AmmoShotgun", 20)
    SetInvAmmoNum("AmmoEnergy", 20)
    SetInvAmmoNum("AmmoRockets", 20)

    DefaultWeapon("WeaponRifleNet")
    DefaultWeapon("Ammo8mmLong")
    DefaultWeapon("Ammo8mmLong")
    DefaultWeapon("WeaponPistolNet")
    DefaultWeapon("Ammo9mmShort")
    DefaultWeapon("DrugHealthex")
    DefaultWeapon("WeaponGrenadeOffensiveNet")
    DefaultWeapon("WeaponGrenadeOffensiveNet")

    }

    ImplantsRoom()
    {
    ImplantAssimilation("ImplantZoom", 1.0)
    ImplantAssimilation("ImplantArmor", 1.0)
    ImplantAssimilation("ImplantSpeed", 1.0)
    ImplantAssimilation("ImplantAccuracy", 1.0)
    ImplantAssimilation("ImplantStrength", 1.0)
    ImplantAssimilation("ImplantTermovision", 1.0)

    }
  7. Now dont forget (if applicable) to rename the file to .SCR
  8. Start a network or internet server with the level of the modified .SCR file.
  9. Enjoy !

My new Nikkon coolscan VED scanner is here

Here you see an example on a 35 mm slide (not entirely focussed photo to see the differences better) the difference with hardware correction made to the scans. by the way, with this scanner, 4000 dpi optical resolution 14bit can be reached, giving an image of 6000 x 4000 pixels at full resolution.
  • ICE = mitigates the effects of dust and scratches
  • ROC = restore faded colours
  • GEM = reduce the effetcs of film grain
  • DDE = increase detail in under- or overexposed areas of the frame
  • SI = Scan image enhancer
  1. Left image: ICE=0, ROC=0, GEM=0, DDE=0, SI=OFF
  2. Middle Imgae: ICE=1
  3. Right Image: ICE=1, ROC=1, GEM=1, DDE: Shadow=10, SI=ON
Well hope now i can make some good scans hehe...

FW: ACHTUNG!!!!

Trip in Southeast Asia (2003-2004): SLIDESHOW

Southeastasia

Thats was during 2003-2004. From a huge pile of photos this is a selection of the photos i like most. All are scans from negatives. Most were made with a Nikon F65, Nikon F80 with lens Nikon AF NIKKOR 28-105mm 1:3.5-4.5 D, 70-300mm 1:4-5.6 G, and 50 mm 1.4 D, with or without tripod. All pictures made by Benjamin Roth, Switzerland. If you intend to use my photos, you need my express agreement and you have to notify me. Also you must include the following words in or with the photo you use: "Photo by Benjamin Roth, Switzerland". All photos in this album are digitally secured for clear identification of the owner.

Well i guess i will add more photos from time to time, since im about to get a negative scanner :P

Chrome Gaming: SLIDESHOW

Chrome from Techland
Here you see chrome, one of my most popular games for online gaming right now. Dont know why, but its a really fun sci-fi tactical shooter. Already quite aged, i still like the grafics. Chrome Specforce is laggy on my PC even with a Geforce 6800 GT (Intel Pentium 3.4 Mhz, 2 GB RAM) online so i dont play it that often. So...im waiting for Chrome 2 ! And Chrome even works on older computers ! Poland is cool... :)
A small map called "Soilent" is perhaps the most favourite of most gamers on Chrome. Its quite small so no camping possible lol :P You will likely find me under the Nick "Ahugasan". Also in any other game online :)
